“Hi, I’m Joe, and I’m the face – and the palate! – of Perk & Pearl. A master barista by training and founded this busy coffee wholesale business.

But my main mission is to make great coffee accessible to everyone, and devising these three Perk & Pearl bespoke blends was a big part of that idea.

Having said that, I hadn’t realised quite what I was letting myself in for – it took nearly two years to get the blends just right! We were constantly adjusting the balance of beans, roasting them at different temperatures and for different times, doing endless blind tastings, gathering feedback…

It was a true labour of love. I’m confident we’ve got them just right, I am sure your customers will love them!”

We only use premium, 100 per cent Arabica beans in our coffee blends – they’re harder to grow than cheaper Robusta beans, but far superior in quality.

It’s also important to us that our coffee is ethically produced, and that we pay a generous price for it. Our suppliers are mostly small farms or cooperatives, and the producers often use traditional methods, picking and processing the coffee by hand and drying the beans in their own front yards – we think you really can taste the difference.

And of course, we roast all our coffee in small batches for maximum freshness, so your customers get the best possible cup every time.
